INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria
Peter Nestler, President of DOJANG Wien Taekwondo organises an INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria since 2024. The IPC – INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria was created to promote Poomsae in Europe. Every year, the leading poomsae coaches are invited to teach the participants the current standards of World Taekwondo.
Anyone who wants to improve their poomsae performance – for personal development or to achieve better results at international tournaments – should definitely take part in this camp.
The camp is open to all poomsae enthusiasts: athletes, coaches, referees from all age groups.

In contrast to many other poomsae camps, our focus is on teaching the current poomsae standards of World Taekwondo. This is of course interesting for athletes from national teams, but also for other poomsae athletes who are looking to reach the top.
„Another advantage of the IPC over other camps is the multi-coach concept,“ reveals Peter Nestler, founder of the successful IPC Austria series. „We offer successful coaches and athletes as coaches, as well as leading WT International referees who can give precise advice on the scoring guidelines and competition rules. Overall, we definitely offer the most comprehensive package,“ says Nestler.

In 2024, the INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria was already very well received: More than 90 athletes from 15 countries gathered for poomsae training together. Among them were around 50 athletes from various national teams.
For the following year, the individual sessions will be more strongly segmented according to the level of the athletes. There will also be more individual coaching sessions. This will allow the needs of the individual athletes to be addressed even better.
