INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria

Peter Nestler, President of DOJANG Wien Taekwondo organises an INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP in Austria since 2024. The IPC – INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria was created to promote Poomsae in Europe. Every year, some of the leading poomsae coaches are invited to teach the participants the current standards of World Taekwondo for Poomsae competition.

The 3rd International Poomsae Camp Austria 2026 will be held from 29th June to 2nd July – IPC 2026 Austria. We are planning with 4 days (Monday to Thursday) and a similar structure for the sessions as in 2025. Day 3 will have the test matches again. Early bookings welcome!

Anyone who wants to improve their Poomsae performance – for personal development or to achieve better results at international tournaments – should definitely take part in this camp.
The camp is open to all Poomsae enthusiasts: athletes, coaches, referees from all age groups.

Recognized Poomsae + Freestyle Poomsae

  • Poomsae Training
  • ELITE SPORTS WORKSHOPS
  • Poomsae Test matches
  • Indvidual coaching
  • New WT Poomsae Rules Seminar

In contrast to many other poomsae camps, our focus is on teaching the current Poomsae standards of World Taekwondo. This is of course interesting for coaches and athletes from national teams, but also for other poomsae athletes who are looking to reach the top.

„Another advantage of the IPC over other camps is the multi-coach concept,“ reveals Peter Nestler, founder of the successful IPC Austria series. „We offer successful coaches and athletes as coaches, as well as some leading WT International Referees who are able and willing to give precise advice on the most up-to-date WT Scoring Guidelines and WT Ccompetition Rules and Interpretations. Overall, we definitely offer the most comprehensive package in Europe you can get,“ says Nestler.

The 2nd INTERNATIONAL POOMSAE CAMP Austria 2025 was intensive with a clear focus on quality. With more than 30 hours of training on four days and a half there was plenty of input for all participants. The test matches on day 3 were held like a small championship with single elimination matches side-by-side for all individuals and one-by-one for pairs and teams.
